About Michelle

Most consultants who work in employee wellness have studied the problem. I have lived it.

I am a professional and the primary caregiver for my child with special needs. Three years ago, my burnout became a crisis acute enough that I could not work for three months. I know what it costs an organization when someone like me hits that wall — and I know how preventable it was.

I built Calm Within Co. and the Caregiver Burnout Risk Framework™ because no structured methodology existed for this specific population in Canadian institutional environments. Not adapted from generic burnout research. Not a wellness template. Built from the inside out — from professional practice and from the experience of being exactly the kind of employee organizations cannot afford to lose.
